A new one for the book

I have been beaten in a poker game, been disconnected, even won, but tonight I had an entirely new experience. How do you come back with 845 in chips and win a tournement..........I couldn't do it.
Let me tell you my story...Entered a tournament on full tilt. Paid my buy-in and waited for the start time to arrive. Five minutes later, I am sitting in total darkness. It seems the storm we had had a couple of hours before caused some problems and my neighborhood wound up in the dark for an hour and a half. By the time I got to the table, the tourney was on break and I had the above mentioned chips. To add insult to injury, I get cards that only deserve to be folded.......EX: J2, Q3, 23, 72....and the list goes on and on. Needless to say that shortly after getting a chance to final sit down at my table, I was out.

How much were you out? If it was just a few dollars just brush it off. You can't really
predict a power outage. What sucks is something this similar happened to me.
If you heard about the big ice storm that hit Missouri this last winter.
My power was out for 3 and half weeks. No power, no phone, no toilet "my well runs off electricity" I just had me,my generator and that heavy feeling in your stomach when you get sick.
I lost all my important buy-ins for the upcoming week. Which is why I wait till the last few minutes before opening now.
