![]() I have a short story for ya Beerman... In a live game @ a friends house about 3 years ago (10 players on the tbl) there was a hand that I had never seen before. It was pretty late in the game, blinds were 80/160 & I was dealt pkt jacks in the cutoff position. There was a raise in MP & a re-raise directly to the right of me. I flat, the button folds & the SB shoves & the BB folds. At this point, I was thinking oh $%&@, now what do I do? The OR calls & the guy to my right calls. I had to fold my jacks. They turn over pkt queens (OR), pkt kings & pkt aces (SB). I couldn't believe it. This was the 1st time I had ever seen the four biggest pkt pairs dealt in the same hand. If you're curious, the pkt queens ended up sucking out & winning the pot. It was nuts, we were pretty wasted @ that point & couldn't stop laughing. |

If you are heads up with another guys AA, all is well. Split pot and keep on playing. However, like someone earlier said, when a third person is involved it is usually trouble. They are inevitably gonna hit their set, river a flush, or find a lucky straight its a bitch. You know you have no help coming and are just left to chant "No X, No X!"

He would lose against two pair of kings. I just re-read his second line I am confused. Maybe he doesn't see the quads and thought he lost to king hight strait, but then I dont know if there is enough cards for that. |

IN ORDER: CO: JJ Button: QQ SB: KK BB: AA The Aces held up and they went from 5 handed to HU in that one hand. Then on the second hand of HU, they both were dealt AA. |

I've had AA v AA v KK live at the casino once. I limped UTG and got raised then re-raised all in, and got so excited.
Made more than my money back so it wasn't too annoying, but still frustrating when someone else has the pocket rockets too. |
