Neteller stops processing US residents at pokersites

I received this from Ultimate Bet this morning.
I figured I start a thread for everyone to add to:
Stinkin frickin frackin and other choice words!
Any ideas where to turn to next?

January 18th, 2007

DESSERTLADY,

Due to some changes in the online poker industry, NETeller has decided to no longer process payments as of January 17 to customers within the United States. We noticed you have used NETeller in the past to fund your UltimateBet account, and we are pleased to offer you a wide variety of safe and secure methods.

UltimateBet offers you the following easy-to-use payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Instadebit, ePassporte, ATMonline and Click2Pay. Funding your account has never been easier. Get more info in the Cashier section of our software.

UltimateBetUltimateBet are one of the older rooms on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% bonus using the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker is the poker site the pro's play at. US players are welcome - use Full Tilt Poker referral code CARDSCHAT for a $600 bonus.

Ya, I posted this on the other thread but here's a copy.

Thanks for playing at Absolute Poker. As you prepare to hit the tables, we’d like to quickly inform you that you NETeller has discontinued offering its services to customers within the United States. As of today, you are no longer able to fund your Absolute Poker account using NETeller.

Got more or less the same thing from FullTilt. Neteller shut down the accounts a week ago with no notice. What a bunch of tools.

I set up a new checking account solely for gambling funds today, and set up Click2Pay, as well. We'll see how this works, but this really ****s me over at Stars - unless I want to sign up for E-passporte and pay 5% commission on every transaction, yikes!

So I have a question.....if US players are no longer able to make transactions through Neteller (deposits and withdrawls), if I went through Neteller and deposited money, how would I get my money out of my poker account and into my personal account? Would the poker site cut me a check and mail it to me??

There are fees for withdrawls, but not quite that steep.

Withdrawal Type..........Fee.........................Time
NETELLER Card............$2.00 USD................15 min to 1 hr
Peer-To-Peer..............1.9% (Recipient Pays).Instant
EFT...........................Free................ ........1 - 2 business days
Cheque via Regular Mail.$2.00 USD................Minimum 2 days

Notes: EFT is not valid for US players at all. Peer to peer and the Neteller card require your acct to be certified with a bank acct. If it isn't already certified, you're SOL. Can't certify now as it requires a micro EFT.

BIG NOTE: If you are thinking of asking for a check to be cut, be aware that as of this morning NeTeller is estimating it will take approximately 8 WEEKS to process your request (oh yeah, plus mailing time).

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this already but I thought I would pass it along. I got this in my email from Ultimatebet yesterday..

In The News - For US Players!
Recently, NETeller, InstaDebit, Citadel and MyCitadel stopped transactions for their US customers. Please note this is NOT a problem with UltimateBet or the service we will continue to provide you as a poker player. Your funds are 100% safe and secure at Ultimatebet and are held separately in a leading European financial institution. Any time you make a deposit, your funds are held specifically for you and are never mixed with operational funds. UltimateBet offers you many alternatives for your payment processing. Many of these options function just like NETeller. You can still use Click2Pay, ePassporte, ATMonline or your Visa or MasterCard. Want more info?

I guess we can add InstaDebit, Citadel and MyCitadel to that list.
