Neteller
Ok so i finally got my Neteller account up and running, and am looking to transfer some funds from Titan to Pokerstars.
I have absolutely no idea of the specifics of money transfer and all, so i'm gonna need some help here; i read the article on neteller, but it didnt really help all that much. So i go to cashier and request a withdrawl for however much i want, and click Neteller. Are there any transfer fees? Is there a minimum to how much I can transfer? How much time will the transfer take? Whats instacash?? Also i read about E.F.T. in the article, but don't see it anywhere in the cashier section...? Anything else i should know? |

First, don't confuse yourself with "InstaCash" or "EFT" just yet.
To "transfer" funds from Titan to PokerStars, all you are going to do is a withdrawl from Titan and a deposit to Stars. Now Titan takes a couple days to process a withdrawl to Neteller, so you'll have to wait for it to show up in NT before depositing to Pokerstars. The minimums have to do with the poker sites (usually $25-$50) not NetTeller and there will not be a fee for doing it this way. The most of the fees kick in when you are dealing with your bank account. It took me a while to learn about fees & what is called what, but I basically only use the method described above and never have a problem. I usually keep about $100 in NT for new sign-ups or when reload bonuses come up (BTW, FTP has one now). Keep it simple for now. If you do have to deal with your bank account, post here again and one of us can try to simplify that part, too. My brain was clogged for a while with this, so I'll try not to do that to yours unless needed. |

I use InstaCash almost exclusively. That way I don't have to keep any money in my Neteller account. It requires that you register your checking account (since that's where the funds will be coming from), but if you use InstaCash through the poker site to deposit funds, there are no fees, and it's "instant".
You can also use InstaCash to deposit into your Neteller account. Funds are deposited from your bank account into your Neteller account instantly. The draw-back to using InstaCash this way (drawing from your bank to deposit into Neteller to have funds available later) is that Neteller charges 8.9% per transaction. So, if you wanted to deposit say, $100 into Neteller via InstaCash, your bank account would actually be debited $108.90. But for you, Chuck, there would not be any fees to transfer from Titan into your Neteller. It just takes a few days, like Sticks said. Then you would have that money available to put it wherever. If you kept some of those funds in there (Neteller, that is), you wouldn't have to worry about InstaCash, you would simply choose the Neteller option to deposit into any poker room. EFT is the option I use when I'm ready to "cash-out" my Neteller account. EFT=Electronic Funds Transfer where funds are wired directly from your Neteller to your bank account. This can take a few days, but it's free, and it's better than waiting for an actual check in the mail. You wouldn't want to use this at the poker site if you want your funds to go into Neteller. Don't worry, it's a lot to digest at first, but they have rules posted before you make any kind of transaction on Neteller. But really, as long as you keep funds in there, or use InstaCash, you won't ever have to visit their site unless you wanted to make a withdrawal from it. |

instaCASH: Preference: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() An instaCASH deposit is an instant EFT. Like a regular EFT, an instaCASH deposit withdraws money from your bank account to fund your NETELLER account. However, with instaCASH, the deposit amount becomes available to you instantly, whereas regular EFTs take 4-5 business days to clear. It can take up to 4 business days for the funds to leave your bank account with an instaCASH deposit, but NETELLER makes the funds available for you to transfer immediately. Electronic Funds Transfer (E.F.T.): Preference: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Using EFT, you can transfer funds directly from your bank account to your NETELLER account. These transactions are free, but require at least 4-5 business days to clear. To use EFT, simply register your bank account with NETELLER.Available to US and Canadian members only. Credit/Check Card: Preference: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Major credit cards accepted. Please note many North American banks decline credit card transactions for certain classes of merchants. This determination is made by the banks and not NETELLER or the credit card companies. If you encounter a problem using your credit card, we suggest that you try one of our EFT bank deposit options, which are quickly becoming the most popular and secure way to transfer money online. Bank Wire: Preference: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bank wire deposits can be initiated from any bank worldwide. Please note that bank wires are different from EFTs (Electronic Fund Transfers). For bank wires you must physically go into your local bank, with the appropriate NETELLER Bank Wire information, to initiate a bank wire deposit to your NETELLER account. NETeller Debit Card: Preference: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When you sign up for a NETELLER Debit Card you will be able to transfer funds from your debit card back to your NETELLER account. Debit Card deposits are instant. Last edited by juiceeQ : 16-04-2006 at 12:12 AM. |

Chuck, when I made enough to start withdrawing for the first time, I also set up a bank account just for poker. I put $200 into it just to set it and neteller up, then once it got going I took back the $200. This let me do 2 things. First, I had an accurate way to keep track of winnings/losses and 2nd, I didn't submit my household bank account to the internet. Now when I withdraw, I stairstep my money to Neteller to checking to savings, keeping some in each just in case I have to go back the other direction.

When Titan gave me a free $12 they told me I had to get 200 points to cash out. I did and turned it into $60. I tried to withdraw via neteller and they told me I had to deposit that way. I did the mininum deposit which was $20 and immediately withdrew $80. The $60 I had plus my $20 deposit. They had the money in my neteller acct in 2 days. |
