Need to Vent

I am having the worst luck ever and I just need to let out some steam. so I am posting. I have been getting AMAZING cards tonight, but everytime I am getting beat. pocket kings I have lost with 4 times in a row heads up, and pocket aces have been broken twice already. I have been rivered with 3 outters a couple times, and even lost once to a guy who hit a flush by hitting two diamonds on the turn, and the river. It is just one of those nights.

Turn off the computer now, and back slowly away. Seriously, it's the universe telling you it's time to take a break. We all have those unbelievable bad days. It's when I keep plugging along trying to make up for it that it just gets worse. Taking a break is good for the soul.

Money wise I am not hurting that bad. Only down a very small amount. I should just be up a TON by now. I have been playing for about 6 hours today on bodog, and have had a high of $264 and a low of $250. Just very frustrating to play this much and now make anything.

And as soon as these to sng's are done, I am off to bed. I need some rest haha.

I had a day recently in which I was at least a 4:1 favorite every time the money went in (all in) and got stacked every time. This happened 6 times and I lost about half my BR. I've started playing more limit games to cut down on the variance of no limit. Hang in there and keep playing well and you'll be fine.

Just to let you guys know. My last 3 SNG's I did, I got a 1st, and 2 3rd's and actually ended up $10 ahead on the night!!! I guess bad luck can't last forever. I think my good luck had something to do with changing the felt color lol. I changed it to red, and everything started going my way.

I get days like that, not often but I think everyone gets them now and again, good advice from juiceeQ though. If I get a day like that, usually i'll give it three tourneys in a row, you just know that it's not going to go your way at all so I just switch off and go watch a movie or something. The next day usually turns around. Those extremely off days are rare so when they come you need to see it as early as possible and forget it, just for the day.

My biggest mistake today was calling a pre-flop all-in with KK, he had AA and of course I lost, sad really because if I had just stayed out of it would have come in the money. No biggy though as it was a freeroll, played excellent up until that point, felt sick so came here to have a look around.

It's starting again lol.

Flop comes 2 7 jack. I have pocket kings, and called his 4x BB raise before the flop. We both have stacks of about 1500 chips. He raises after the flop 100, i re-reaise to 250. He goes all in, I call. He flips over Jack Ace. Exactly what I thought he would have. Turn comes jack, river comes Ace.

It's 8AM and I am angry already.

Just went all in with pocket queens vs a guys pocket 9's. Flop come 10 9 9. I lose.

Another table, all in with pocket 4's. Guy calls with 2 10 and hits a 10.

All 3 of my all in's tonight I had the advantage and lost.

And FYI, I play sng's so I have to go all in.

i lost twice today with aa. flop came a7q lost to qqqq. the other time was runner runner to make a straight against me ..went to play money to cool down

There is just nothing I hate more, than getting a guy to call you with an inferior hand, and then having him beat you. Just an awful feeling.

Think of it more positively though. At the time you had a heap of bad luck and your still about break even. Just think to yourself - no problem, I'm better than these guys, theres no way they can beat me in the long run
