hi there,

this is going to sound real desperate but anyway. i want to play online poker. everyone i know thinks it is of the devil. i must live in the bible belt mega. looking for a couple mates who are playing low level poker and wouldnt mind a nube hanger on. watching, talking poker

There is a good solid core of people around here that all rail each other, chat about hands and play sngs, mtts and ring games together. If you want a good friendly community that shares a common interest for poker, you found it here.

You'll only get as much out of it as you put into it though. This means posting, and being active in whatever games you can join.

Be warned those games are called donkathons for a reason. You're already qualified for CC buyins and there are quite a few game going requests. btw I've seen other members that have the same problem as you living in the south.

if you play on full tilt poker you can always find me there i play low level games and my poker name there is thebiatch22 i am there way to much but am always having a blast so look me up anytime i mostly do the tourneys but sometimes will sit at a regular table

Playing on the computer is great fun and you can meet lots of nice people there too. There are several different sites to play but I can't say which is the best as I've only played at Full Tilt. It's pretty easy to understand and to get around in that site. Good luck at the tables.
