Need quick help with charity event PLEASE. Hi All, I am new to the forums but i hope you can work with me and help me out. I am hosting a charity poker tournament on 3 weeks that will also have a silent or regular auction along with it. We are raising money for a local family that is on hard times. I am trying to get ideas and find sponsors that will donate items that we can auction off of raffle off to raise money. So far, Full Tilt has agreed to send me a few cases of gear (very cool) and I am hoping to continue from here. If anyone can contribute ideas to help out it would be greatly appreciated. What I am trying to do now is contact professional players (or their agents most likely) an maybe get autographed pictures or things like that. After googling for hours, I m nowhere, I can't even find how to contact anyone. Can anyone help with where to look or get email addresses. I am really pressed for time, so an help is appreciated. Thanks, Eric eric@riversiderounders.com

I know that quite a few players have myspace accounts, you could try contacting people through that. If you go to the Full Tilt myspace page I'm pretty sure they have most of their pro's pages linked in their friends. Sorry, know it's not much, but that's about the only thing I can think of. Best of luck to you. Full Tilt on Myspace: MySpace.com - FULL TILT POKER - 29 - Male - UK - www.myspace.com/playwiththepros Last edited by mparker876 : 21st July 2008 at 4:12 AM.

re: Need quick help with charity event PLEASE. poker Depends where you are on the world. If it's the UK you have to be very careful as it could easily be illegal. A mate of mine tried to set up something similar and was threatened with arrest if he went ahead. I can e-mail you some stuff to keep you the right side of the law if you're this side of the pond. If it's legit, PM me as I write for a poker mag and might be able to help.
