Need Help Calculating Odds
I need help calculating odds... but it's kind of an odd request.
For Hold 'Em, I'd like to know the odds of the following occurring, using your 2 cards and the community 5 cards (all cards): -3 pair -6 card straight -7 card straight -6 card straight flush -7 card straight flush -6 card flush -7 card flush -"Super" full house (4 of a kind + 3 of a kind) Can anyone help or recommend me to someone? |

When playing a dealer-calls-it cash game, I want to introduce a new spin on regular HoldEm... playing all 7 cards with expanded hand rankings. The only problem is, I need to know the relative rarity of all of the hands.
BTW, the "super" full house happened to me the other day. I had pocket 8's and flopped 6-8-6. Thinking I was set with a full house I tried to milk the hand and got screwed on the River. Turn and River were both 6's. I knew the other guy had a better kicker for the Quad 6's we shared. |

Well, a seven card flush would be (13/52)*(12/51)*(11/50)*(10/49)*(9/48)*(8/47)*(7/46) which would be .0000128%, or 1 in 77,963.03. A super full house would be (52/52)*(3/51)*(2/50)*(1/49)*(48/48)*(3/47)*(2/46) which is .000000133%, or 1 in 7,503,941.67. But, if you want the hand rankings, it would be 3 pair, 6 card straight, 6 card flush, 6 card straight flush, 7 card straight, 7 card flush, Super full house, 7 card straight flush.
