My new years plans
This coming new years I'm planning on making between an 80-100 dollar deposit on Pokerstars. I've made a couple small deposits(10-15 dollars) this year, just to try tournaments and cash games. I now think I have my game at a point where I can try to build a serious bankroll from poker. Not making a living, but just having fun making some money and hopefully playing in the big tournaments in the future, such as the Sunday Million, 400k, the WCOOP, and of course the cardschat buy in events. So what I'm what I'm wanting to get from this post is, with steady play and BR management, at what rates can I expect this money to go up(if it choses to do so lol). Any advice is welcome!

As far as how fast this will go up, that depends entirely on how good you actually are and how often you play. |

Although as I mentioned in another thread that the pokerstars HORSE .50/1 games are extremely soft, you may not have enough of a BR to play that at the start. I would play at the low limit ring games until you have enough of a BR and then you could build it at HORSE if you are even somewhat competent at it. I don't think there's much money overall in HORSE though, you may be able to get 5-10 bucks per hour at the low-stakes HORSE, but higher stakes seem to be better players, and although I'm not there yet, I'm hoping to be able to play in higher limit NLHE games and profit more than $10/hour on average. It all depends on what you like to play and what your goals are, in the short term and the long term.

I don't really like playing cash(at least not what I've tried of it). My goal would be by next year to be solely playing mtt's and sng's. I also hope to be able to play in the big Sunday tournaments, and also have the roll to play them.
