| re: My Journey starts here. poker Erm, I don't wanna burst your bubble there Dapper but your Goals on your blog are way off if bog-standard bankroll management is your thing. You have a LONG way to go before becoming a professional poker player. You wanna start off playing NL 0.25/0.50 with a bankroll of $200 because it's 400BB!!?? No, you need at least 20 BUY-INS. Which means you need a healthier bankroll to the tune of $1000 for those 0.25/ 0.50 games. You wanna move up to NL 0.50 /1 after "soundly and routinely beating the 0.25/0.50"? You'll need $2000. Methinks that if you want to keep to your $200 BR for those games then you will get a puncture on your "journey" after you get to the first bend. |
