My first ROYAL FLUSH

So I got my first royal flush just the other day. I must say that i really enjoyed it. I had A 9 clubs in my hand and floped the 10 k J. I was pretty happy with that flop, being first to act I checked. 2 players behind me stayed in the last one bet I called, the other guy called. Then the Q came on the board, It all happened so easy. Again i check the last guy bets I call the other guy folds. The last card was another face card I bet half the pot the guy called me and the rest is history.
I started playing online about a year ago, my question to you is how long did you have to wait for your first and how many have u had after that? I was playing on Party Poker, thinking about it now i wish i had gotten the hand history for that one and lets hope im not waiting aslong for the next one.

He mentioned that, Party Poker.

I've never gotten one, and I've only seen one. It was a one-carder like yours. They aren't as cool, but hey, they're a royal flush aren't they! Problem is I was up against the guy with it. I lost some money!

The best hand I've ever had was two days ago when I flopped a 9 high straight flush.

Nice.

Yeah lol, unless someone has a set and u got 2 of the other cards, or youre playing a table full of morons. Anyway Ive never got a RF before, come close several times but not yet, Ive played 2 years btw. My best hand ever was a 3-7 str flush. That was when I just started off in poker. This guy had a huge stack (twice as much) and was pressing me all the time with huge raises and nothing in his hand and taunting me. Being a noob, i got pissed off and went on tilt (he showed me his cards evertime he made a bluff). I called his next raise with 5-6 spades, flop came 3s 7s Kd. He hit his Ks so he bet half my stack, I call. 9c on the turn, he bet almost all my stack and I called again still pissin mad. 4s on the river, he hits his K high flush, laughs, and bets what I had left. Guess who had the last laugh? I mustve done it 30 times between taking all his chips and him finally losing out on tilt. Sweet.

My first Royal March 15, 2005

I was at JetSet poker. I was holding Kc/10c. I was short stacked...in fifth place out of five...had about 3000 chips, everyone else had about 9-12 thousand. I went all, had one guy that called he had Kd/10h.

Flop came...Ac,Qc,Jh. Turn...3d. River.................Jc!!!! JetSet sent me a free t-shirt six weeks later...and I haven't had a hand there since.

A couple of months ago, I got my first straight flush.

8-9-10-J-Q of hearts

I started with a 10-J and flopped the 8-9-Q. So I basically slow played it and when someone made a big bet near the end, I went all in and he followed me in. I won the pot and people didn't stop talking about it for 10 minutes. It was just a once in a lifetime thrill.

In one year I have had only one royal flush and that was using only one of my hole cards. Have never used both to make a royal flush before.

Thats actually a straight flush not a royal flush.
A straight flush is defined as any 5 cards of the same suit in sequence.
A royal flush is the top 5

Your cards (straight flush): 9TJQK
Royal flush: TJQKA

But congrats anyway.

Straight flushes

Still waiting for my first Royal Flush. Had a K-high straight flush on my last trip to Las Vegas in July. Flopped a low straight flush in a tourney this past week. Didn't make off like a bandit on either, unfortunately ...

Before those ... it had been some time.

Which post did this refer to? If it was H8Poker he had A9 (i.e Ace 9), not just a 9.
