I was so excited lol, any way you think I coulda got more out of this?

The only thing you could have done was bet less on the river for about 1/2 the pot or so. He was happy to bet the pot on the turn, and he could easily had a heart as well which made his flush on the river (though obv a lower flush). The pot sized bet there scares off any mediocre holdings and only gets called by a monster which we know he doesn't have. So I think you played it fine, but a smaller bet on the river in this situation get called more often.

I've made 5 Royals and have only gotten paid on one of them, when the other guy also had a flush. The board looks too scary to get paid off usually, unless the other guy has a very big hand.

I've only had one royal flush online, and it paid off quite well, unfortunately it was wasted in the middle of a 2700 person freeroll on FT. I doubled up to about 30,000 but eventually got knocked out in 57th place.
