My Findings as an Online Poker Player I find that I play much better poker after taking 1 or 2 day breaks before a session or tournament. I find that the more frequently I play, the worse I perform, and the more money I tend to lose. I don't know if I am tilting in these big sessions or if I start to get tired or bored and begin to play like my inner donk. It seems much easier to do well if I have taken a break before playing. Maybe it is something I should start getting used to until I learn how to play for extended periods of time. Do any of you have similar experiences? any thoughts on what I can do to keep my play at its highest level all the time?

re: My Findings as an Online Poker Player I used 6 months to practice patience by playing freerolls and mucking everything except AA or KK. Even in the BB I would muck anything but these two hands. It gets old but you will be suprise at how long you last when you can only call or fold. Lefty

I went for months at a time playing everyday, but the grind gets too much after so long a time. Now, I usually take at least one day a week and stay away completely, and only play a little one or 2 other days out of wevery seven. The time I take away from the tables I spend reading, studying, and hanging around Cardschat.
