| re: my favorite Phil Hellmuth moments poker Telling people to "shut the f*** up" is against most tournament rules too, so Phil would be out. I only really play live poker, 95% of my poker is live, and I do quite well. You come across some knobs, but not like he was in the first video (well I personally haven't anyway). And round here, the majority of people would of smacked him too, people don't stand for that kind of attitude, it is pathetic. |

| I really dig Phil Hellmuth, he's awesome. A lot of fun to watch and probably the best Hold'em tournament player in the world. As for the first video: I didn't watch it now, but I guess it's his first Poker After Dark appearance? I watched the entire show, and he had every right to be upset about this hand. Tournament rules were changed for subsequent shows, and Phil Hellmuth has re-appeared on the show several times. Later in this same show the other players even admit that it was unfair of them to keep talking while Phil was making a tough decision. |

| It was wrong for the players to continue to talk while Phil was trying to make a hard decision so I dont blame him for saying it. Put yourself in Phil's shoes here, you are trying to make a very tough decision and people continue to make fun of you and will not be quit so you can think. And trust me if you hit someone I think they take that a litle more serious then saying the f-bomb. Quote:

| Yeah fair comment. My first post though "I would do very well not to smack him" was more sort of a figure of speech. I doubt I would actually lash out, but I would definently say something. There's no need for attitude, but then again the players should have given him more respect. I think walking away from the table after that was a good move though, I take it he come back? |
