My best Poker week ever!!!

Well last Saturday I went away for a few days and ended up going to a casino with my mate. I asked the lady at the front desk if they run any texas hold em tournaments and she said they run 5 a week. There was a £10 rebuy tournament running on the Sunday so we put our names down for it. We went inside and I decided to have a game at Blackjack so I bought £10 worth of chips and had a real good run. Turned it into £55 in about an hour and 30 mins and decided to leave it there with my poker buy in and some rebuy's!!

Was really looking forward to the poker tournament as it was only the second live game I have played in and this one was far better set up than the last one I played in. I managed to finish second out of about 35 players and took £260 home along with my blackjack winnings which i was really happy about because I'm going on holiday soon and needed the money.

Now I have been struggling with my bankroll recently on pokerstars but I decided to enter a $22 buy in 180 player SNG today and I've won it!! this is my biggest win ever at poker and it's put me in a really good mood!!

Way to go man. Nice to see some funds in the account that are larger than 3 digits. I know how it feels. just won 20K guarunteed on PartyPoker for $4500. Nice to see CC players are making a mark in the poker world.

Wow! Nice cash prize for you G-man. How long did the tournament take? Maybe you should try one of the WSOP satellites at pokerstars.

Very nice G! I have been thinking about entering in one of the $20 ones, was the cometition any better than a 4 or 5 dollar one. I highly doubt it but thought I would ask. When I moved up to .10/.25 cash tables I found the players worse than the .5/.10 A lot more loose anyway.

the connection was prettty poor at times Lo-Dog but overall not too bad, some tables were much worse than others....
