| My bad beat record I got three bad beats today in three different tournaments eliminating me from all three in less than ten minutes. In today's bodog tourny I was getting low on chips and getting near being in the money. No one was in and I was the small blind. I went all-in with AK and got called by A9. An easy win? No sir, two nines hit the board. Next tournament, ten players to be eliminated and I was in the money. No one was in. I was the small blind and the chip leader, a bully, was the big blind. I limped in with a pair of 2s and got a big raise. I went all-in and got called by a 6 & 4. A four came up on the river. Dead again. Last tournament, two remaining players even chips. I tryed limping in on a pocket pair of fives and got called with an all-in. I called. He had king two. You guess it. A King hit the board. This is a record for me. I might add, one that I do not want. |

| 1st ones a bad beat. Yes that one's legit. 2nd one, you should have known better. If you knew he was the chip leader and bully, why push with 2s when you know he's obv going to call, and at best you're in a race situation (unless he has A2, but unlikely)? It was 50/50 basically, and not a bad beat. 3rd one, HU situation, can't really crtique much there, considering I don't know the situation and how you two were playing before this hand. HU, people push with with Kx or Ax sometimes trying to pick up the pot, especially against limpers. A bit of a bad beat, but still not harsh. One thing I noticed about all 3 hands, you went all-in preflop in all of them. Not really the epitome of bad beats when that happens, unless its like AA over KK or ect. Not being negative towards you, but you're preflop play--especially in the 2nd and 3rd hands--are pretty routine considering the situations. |
