My 1st tourney IRL

Greetings in about 1 hour 12pm my time I will have started not only my 1st live table but also my 1st tournament. its a 60$ tournament with re buy and addons at Eldorado Casino in Shreveport,LA

i am hoping for some support and some prayers i am already nervous

GL, relax, breathe and you'll feel comfortable within the 1st hour.

GL... I remember my first. I was shaking like a leaf..

Just sit back for the first hour and don't play any hands unless they're huge like KK or AA, take this time to watch everyone else and see how they play.

Don't bet out of turn, don't fold out of turn. Don't tell people what you had if there are still people in the pot.

Tell the dealer what you are doing before you do it. Whether it is Calling, Folding or god forbid, Raising. State "I raise" then tell him the amount. Life will be easier for you if you do that!

To be honest, you should have played like a $10 before a $60 as your fist but good luck anyway.

well ladies and gents i took home 697$

it got down to 5 people and we were all good everyone of them was shocked that it was my 1st live table. they said you know what we all have between 30-45k chips lets just chop it now, and we did.. congrats to all the winners...

break down, 60$ buy in, i rebuy once for 25$ at break i spend 50$ for 4000 more chips

grand total of 135$ left with 697$ = winner

Congrats on a great result.I played live also for the first time recently(a free to enter pub poker league they have here in the U.K.) and I was nervous as hell.But it all went well and am looking forward to going again.

What an incredible result for a first time. WTG!!! did us chatters proud! Put half in your poker BR and use half to pay off the credit card!!

car broke down today, like 150$ to get towed and fix. thank you eldorado!lol
