| My 1st $10 MTT Not too bad for my 1st time ever at a $10 MTT. Placed 7th at pokerroom out of 235 players and won $82.50. I was 3rd, but had KK and went all in because I was so excited, ( I was thinking 1st, $7xx.00, lol)and got called by AJ and he flopped an A. Crippled me bad enough I went out next. The play at the $10 table was much nicer than at the $5's that Ive played before. |

| Well, I'm pretty new to the poker scene. (Maybe 2 months playing seriously with real money), but played play money there for probably 6 months before that. The only other place Ive played is Royal Vegas (until I lost my 50.00 deposit plus the bonus money, lol) so I really dont have a lot to compare it too. There are tons of players making bad calls and suckouts, but that seems to happen everywhere it seems, according to posts here. The only thing I can tell you is that I think the board double pairs too frequently. For example if I get PP 4's, there seems to be an unusually high chance that someone else also has a PP. It doesnt matter to me though, I just adjust my play accordingly. In fact I kinda like it when I have Kings and my opponent has 9s. Sometimes they just dont want to fold em All in all, I like pokerroom. They have $500 freerolls, $1 Tournaments with $250-$2500 added. They even have tourneys with a guaranteed prizepool of 40K that are only 20 bucks to enter. Ive been doing good in the $10 shorthanded tourneys, thats what Ive been playing mostly lately. Wish I could help ya more, but like I said I'm pretty new still. |
