multi sng (help me out.) 10 tables at ones when do you move up? Hello cardschat forum readers, I could help some advice about when to move up in stackes. I am now playing 10 times $5,50 sng (9 handed). And its going pretty smooth. But when do you move up in stackes? I am not a big fan of playing to different stackes at ones but what is yourre opinion about it. So my main qeustion: When do you move from 10 times $5,50 to 10 times $11 dollar sit and go's. Greets

You definitely need more than $300 to start playing $11 sng's. 50 buy-ins would be $500. If you are doing okay at the $5 level then that would be the time to start taking stabs at the $11's. It also depends on where you are with your game. Have you studied sng strategy, read Collin Moshman's book, etc? If not I would spend some time on that before moving up. I just moved up to the $11's about a month ago and love it. I did great the first half and have struggled the 2nd half but can't see myself ever moving back down. (fortunately I have the bankroll to go all the way up to $55's - I am just taking my time as I learn the game.) Where do you play? Good for you on being able to 10 table - I am up to 6 and don't think I could handle more than that.

Nah - I was smart and when I won that $1600 in the 30k in June I left it online with the rest of my bankroll. Since then I have been able to make a withdrawal and still have a very nice bankroll left. |

I could not play 10 tables at once, so I applaud you for your success. 4 tables is the most I stay comfortable with. Have hit 5 before a few times and my play gets real raggy. I would suggest a $500 min bankroll to play the $11s. I am more cautious myself and still play $1 level (with an occ $5 multi table tourney thrown in there) even with a bankroll over $1,000. Much luck.

Hmm, I guess the first thing I would wnt to know what you think is good? If you are playing 10 tables at one time, how many are you cashing at and how many are you winning? I am cheap, so I usually start with 75-100on a site and play the larger $5 tournaments and the $10 SNG. I then usually cash out when I get to 1K and only leave 100-200 in the account. I usually start playing $25-$30 tournaments after I get over $200. I do only play $5 SNG after I get under $50.
