| MTT - Accumulating chips Often in MTTs I find myself short stacked because I am playing super tight until the first break so that I don't get donked out. Is this what is causing me to be short stacked? Also what is another good way to accumulate chips? |

| Being more aggressive and loosening up in position to make strong plays... Small Ball Poker- playing more hands to see more flops and take down small pots to make a bigger stack. This is advanced play and is used by pros so be careful....you'll lose faster if you don't know what your doing! |

| One thing that helped me was pure position play.Lets say your the button or 1 off.If you have 1 or 2 limpers and no raise.then I'll 3-4bb raise.regardless the cards.you can take your share of pots preflop like this.but lets say you get a caller.Flop comes out and he checks I bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot bet.If leads with a bet post flop and you missed fold. Hope that helps some.It takes some practice. |

open your range a lot in late position, when you have over 30BB. Which means limping in position after other limpers...don't open limp....with hands like suited one gappers, and non-suited connectors. If you have deep stacks, call raises with these. Don't get too crazy though. When hands like these hit, you are more than likely doubling up from someone who can't dump there QQ+, TPTK hands. |
