| Motivation I thought I'd post this as nobody in my normal life will probably give a monkey's and I need to get it off my chest. Firstly let me say that I play poker for the enjoyment and the winning secondary, If I played to be a winning player i'd probably not enjoy it as much(I hope that makes sense). I have played live about 8 times in the last year, all MTT's with a £30 buy in(approx $60) at my local casino and despite cashing only once I have this hunger just to play live more often, despite having a young family and only being able to afford to go once every couple of months. I used to play on-line dailly and will admit to being a losing player overall, but in the 3 years of on-line play i've only lost approx £50. Anyway my point is that I don't feel motivated to play on-line ATM, purely due to a recent buzz of playing live. Infact I am itching to play poker at my normal times but just not online. I don't feel addicted or anything I just needed to vent that I have a strong desire to play live now despite knowing it will be a month or so before I can again and on-line play is no longer cutting the mustard. Thanks for listening. |

| Sounds like you're playing within your means and if you've only lost 50 pounds then you're only losing to the rake not other players. I would say continuing to play online (and frequenting cardschat) could help you become a winning player and then you could play a little more often live. Good Luck . |
