Most helpful NL tourney book?

I admittedly have not read a whole lot of books, but I have read the three Harrington volumes on NL tournament play and I must say they have helped me tremendously.

I was wondering which books that you all have read that have noticeably improved your NL Holdem tournament play? Serious answers.

Side note, I have started to read Harrington's books on NL cash and must say they are messing with my tournament play. The tournament play comes very intuitively for me and the cash strategies not so much.

HoH did wonders for my game.

I have come to the realization that for most folks Tourney vs Ring is almost as different as Holdem vs Stud. The basics are very similar, but the finer points make a world of difference.

We do have a few members who have shown the ability to excel in both ring and tourney, but they might not make a whole handful.

Hey Shrts! May I recommend: "The Full Tilt Poker Strategy Guide: Tournament Edition" with Andy Bloch, Richard Brodie, Chris Ferguson, Ted Forrest, Rafe Furst, Phil Gordon, David Grey, Howard Lederer, and Mike Matusow. Besides the Harrington books, this great tourney guide should be a part of your poker books collection.

I read HOH also... My favorite by far. You my notice that Harringtion mentions Sklasnky from time to time. I read the Sklansky for advanced tournament play some time ago. Very technical, but it might be worth a look.

i'm thinking that reading any type of poker book would simply ruin it for me
i play for the sheer enjoyment, if i started reading trying to win more money or even try to be the best at it, i think that would take away the relaxing affects, maybe i'm weird but that's how i feel about it

"Why you lose at Poker" is a great quick read. It isn't Tournament specific but it can really open your eyes to mistakes that you don't think you are making.
