memories of jetset poker

I don't know if any of you ever played there but I really really miss this site alot. They used to have these headhunter tournaments where the prize pool was split in thirds and like 2/3 went to head values where if you knock someone out you got their head value no matter what place you came in tournament.

they are also the site where I hit the royal flush bonus for like $700 or something. I really miss playing there, I hate the way they left the U.S. market, by posting a message saying we are closing forever in like 10 minutes. It was crappy to do the players like that but I for one would play again if they ever came back. The software was terrific. I miss you Jetset.

Yes, I miss JetSet ALOT! It was my last place to deposit at before they closed and I went back over to Ultimatebet. Every morning I would play the O8b freeroll and they were the first site that I actually placed first in a MTT.
Ahhhh it just really sucked they pulled out like they did and how they did it too.

Storwa did you have any money over there when they shut down? if you did did you get it back?
I did not have much but after 2 emails I did get my money back into my neteller account.

their support was second to NONE. Which is why I'm surprised they shut down like they did.

The majority of their players were American so they shut down all together.

Yeah its a pity, it was my second site after I left paradise. Like everybody else I loved the software and the tourneys they offered. It had the potential to become a great site, but Im sure im not alone here when I say the site was badly run, they had it going well and traffic was improving but then they changed alot of things including tourney times and stuff and pissed off alot of people, plus for me the withdrawals are dodgy (they took ages to issue my cheque). Other than that I dont have alot of complaints about that site. I cashed out and whatevers left in there I blew on Pai Gow (I hate that game cause its totally rigged but for some reason I still love to play it). Then they closed door with alot of my gps left in there which I had taken ages to save. I do miss the people and the site but Ill never play there again. Im like the mafia, once you cross me I bear a grudge my whole life.

I won my first ever tourney there - a $1 NLHE freezeout about 80+ runners, think i won about $22

I still remember the hand that won it for me lol (2 years ago now)

The last time i played must have been a CC FR there and remember pressing the options where you could throw your chips across the table, then you could break your chair lol

The second time i pressed that choice i had a message say 'you do not currently have a chair as you have already broken it' lol
