Me and Poker....LOL

It's MithyCat again....Well, My latest conquests have been like this...I've placed in the money in several freerolls or worked really hard to finish in the top 100 of 2700 in a lot of and I do mean a lot of freerolls. My major problem is this... I can't seem to get aggressive enough with those of the donk set ! I've seen such crap cards kept against what should be solid hands and they hit ! OMG !! I mean come on... who keeps 3/8 os and expects it to hit??? I don't believe any of these people have read anything on the fine art of playing good poker. I mean I'm no at the tables and will push if I have high pockets or suited connectors or high face cards. But to absolutely no avail against the dreaded omg i won with 3/8 os !! To which they either make the fine announcement that we are all losers or they rule the tables.
It's all good tho... I continue to play my hands and am learning to get as aggressive as they are and pushing back just as hard
Hopefully I shall continue to travel up the road I'm headed for and they shall fall to the wayside. Ha !!! I think I'm dreaming or have been in the stash just a lil too much At any rate goodluck to all and may your cards fall as lovely as rain !!!!!!
One confuseled MithyCat420 !!!!!

That's why they call it P-O-K-E-R!

Just keep making the proper decisions, know WHY you're making said decisions, and focus on reacting positively to 'X' outcome!

What they don't tell you in the books you read about the art of good poker. Is that no one wins every time no matter how good you are. That wouldn't sell their books too well.

If you play the best poker you can play, you did a good job. There is a very large part of the game that you cannot control (luck). No matter what you do, you can't get past it, you just want to better your odds time after time of taking down the pot.

Tournaments are hard because you are rolling the dice over and over again. Especially in ones as deep as 2700 people. You have to accept the luck and just play your best.
