Maniac Aggressive's, love em or leave em?

Ok, so ive recently developed an affinity for playing with Maniac Aggressive's. You have to tighten up a good amount, but played right you can hit some HUGE pots, and it helps you conceal almost any hand when you can "call" from a raise in an earlier spot. It may get aggravating at times, but all the chips they win just end up coming your way if you play your cards right. Ill buy them a drink and make friends with every one of them i see.

I agree, along as you only play top 2-3 % of hands, then take those suckers down!

Good maniacs are very dangerous. Bad maniacs put more money in pot obviously. The best maniacs will only damage you but not put more money in pot when they are beat. Regardless if good or bad playing a maniac requires one to take a lot more risk.

Generally these players can become some of your biggest pay days. The trouble is people see them making so many plays and suddenly think that top pair is the automatically the nuts. Be patient, wait for those big hands, slow play, trap and take their stacks. Played well, these players can mean big $$
