Making A Trip To Turning Stone Next Week...

Was curious as to where I should stay, for an affordable price. Looked at the prices to stay at the casino and wasn't too fond of them. Anyone know of some cheap hotels located near by. I was thinkin a Holidy Inn which is like 20 miles from the casino. Apparently my friend who wants to make the trip has a brother who works for them. Can get me a huge discount maybe? Anyways any insite is great appreciated.

just call ahead and reserve a tower room. poker rate is only $70-80 a night. What days are you going, I might meet some cardschatters up there. I should be there 1 or 2 days this week, then back for the Empire Holdem Events starting Aug.11th....

well i'm just trying to play in the opening event, and then whatever happens, happens. If I lose I cash game, if I cash in it still cash game. So do you get a discount for playing poker or something?

for some reason the name Turning Stone reminds me of that restaurant/entertainment place Medieval Times.

You are playing in the opening event of what? The empire event? If so sweet, lets meet up at some point up there b/c I will be there for that. And yes, you get a discount for playing poker. Call in advance and ask for the poker rate, if it is for the Empire then $80 per night. Try and get a room in the Towers if possible, much nicer than the hotel.
