Making sense of stats So up until the last month or so i have never tracked my play, now im using a tool that tracks vpip, pfr etc, im new to this so just wondering how i use these stats, what is a good ratio, ive played 5000 tracked hands and my stats are 21/10, where does this leave me. tight? loose fish? can anyone give me advice on how to rate other players by their stats too, i want to colour code them so i know more about my opponents. any help greatly appreciated

re: Making sense of stats poker There are a ton of threads that throughly explain stats (vpip etc) on the web and give great insight onto what they mean. Best to google to find the troves of info. Sorry that I do not have a current link I can post....

As said there are plenty of threads on this like this one (for HEM) users: Special 1K post: Hold'em Manager Stat GuideAs a start: You're 21/10, the first number being vpip (voluntarily put money in pot) 21% of all times (somewhere between loose and tight), 10 is your preflop raise stat (10%). So what ranges are that ? Google for "pokerstove" and put the numbers in - then you'll see.
