Making It To The Major Leagues Of Poker
I am a baseball nerd, you know the type to follow minor leagues down to the Rookie level and look at defense zone ratings. I am sure some of you are on the same page
So as a way to motivate myself I have came up with this baseball poker analogy of the minor league and poker levels with an estimated earnings per hour in parentheses for a respectable player. Play chips - Rookie 0.01/0.02 - A- (0.50) 0.05/0.10 - A (2.50) 0.10/0.25 - A+ (5.00) 0.25/0.50 - AA (10.00) 0.50/1.00 - AAA (18.00) 1.00/2.00 - MLB (30.00) Anyone in the majors care to disagree? Are my estimated earnings per hour too high? I figure someone playing at 1.00/2.00 would have a bankroll of about $4000 and is doing this professionally, playing 30 hours and studying 10 hours a week bringing in a solid $2800 a month. |
