Major Changes to FULL TILT !!!!

full tilt now has Tournament Dollars!!!! and you can convert them with Full Tilt to Tourney dollars for 5% commision fee. Ha this was worth the 3 hr update.

some of the avatars changed too like the pirate looks like jack sparrow...lol and they ask you abut tournament $ before you sign up for sngs!

any one now what the diffrence on real money and tournament dollars is?
is there any benfit to converting your bankroll to tournament dollars?

Kinda strange there is nothing on the fulltilt website about the changes

5% commission fee is ridiculous. I like the idea but taking a commission on it is robbery.

I think the cashier is a lot more organized and to be honest i like it way more.....im glad they did these upgrades!!!

Isn't the 5% commission cheaper than sites like CashManBrian (for Stars)? Plus you would have the added benefit of knowing that FT was doing it rather than someone else. Or am I missing something?

If you win a sat. into a tournament, you can unregister from the tournament and get the buy-in that you won in T$, or Tournament Dollars. Pokerstars has had this forever, but they never had a way of converting them into Real $$ on their own software. It's about time that FT caught up, but the 5% commission fee seems a bit steep.

Is this exactly true there may be more details because I am registered for the 750k and cant do that.......btw i won it through sattelite

This looks like nothing more than them trying to emulate PokerStars system and failing miserably.

what i'm thinking is that because you won the seat before this update, they might not let you do it. I'd e-mail support and see what they have to say about it.

and chuck, at least they are trying to keep up with Pokerstars

To register for the regular freeroll tournaments now you dont have to click the no entry fee then register anymore, you just click the register button at the top right once and youre in!

If you can't unregister from a sat. win this is totally worthless. That's what the whole T$ system is for. I may have spoke too soon earlier before I looked at the setup. Basically the way it should work is that you can unregister from a tourney and get T$ back to use in other tourneys OR exchange for cash minus 5%. My earlier assumption was that if you took the T$ instead of the seat they gave you 5% less T$.

The update also broke tableratings.com, which sucks.

man im still confused on this whole tourny dollars thing, guess ill keep checking this thread and hope for an answer haha. but i definately like the idea that if you win a satellite to a tourny that you can unregister and it goes towards other tourny buy-ins or changed to cash.

if you win a tournament you can unregister and either use the money for other tournies free of charge or......get cash but pay 5%

okay--you win $150 satellite ticket to a specific tournament. I understand you can a) trade this in for $150 that can be used ONLY for tournaments, or b) exchange the ticket for $150 credited to your account minus %5? is this correct?

Sheesh, I don't play for a whole day and the system changes completely!
