Alan Sass just took down a pot pre-flop with a raise. The table has been folding to most of Sass's raises the last 2 hours.

Negreanu Eliminates Player
With $5,000 in the pot and a flop showing 663, Daniel Negreanu checks. The 5 seat bets $3,500, the 7 seat calls, and Negreanu calls. The turn is the 2 and once again Daniel checks. The 5 seat checks and the 7 seat fires out another $3,500. Daniel calls and the 5 seat folds. The river is the 9 and Negreanu pushes all-in. After a brief debate the 7 seat reluctantly calls and flips over JJ. Negreanu flips over 54, for a straight, and eliminates the 7 seat. Currently, Daniel Negreanu has $78,500.

That looks pretty much spot on for the C stream.

Some guy from the B stream has about 229K (Hossein Tagh Avi), and is the overall chip leader by about 100K. (which means he probably will bust out in Day 2 )
