Maiden Tournament
A way of encouraging novice players.
Maiden tournament. Entry Fee $1. $3,000 guaranteed payout Tournament rules; Any player who has final tabled from a field of 2,000 or more is ineligible. Any player who has ever made $100 or more profit from a single MTT is ineligible. If a player achieves either of the above whilst playing in this tournament, congratulations! But you will be denied entry in the future. Any player who has ever won $100 or more playing in an S & G will be ineligible. Poker sites run tournaments involving players from just one country, so I reckon either of the two biggest poker sites could easily run a tournament along these lines, and I think it would be very popular. I am not suggesting that every $1 tournament should have these rules, but one a day wouldn’t hurt IMO. What do you think guys? GL at the tables. |

If the policing is resticted to the results of players at the site running the tournament, how difficult would this be for modern computer technology to pick up on? I really don't kow! I am a complete computer novice, and have just learned how to cut and paste! Quote:
LOL. It's a shame you can't play at Titan Poker, they do S&Gs for 'new' players, and this lasts for the first 3 months. Although many of the 'new' players are quite experienced through playing at other sites, I reckon a good 40% - 60% really are beginners! |
