Low stakes Draw/Stud: is it stealing or luck? I played some low stakes 7 card stud and 5 card draw just to see what it was like. I ended up going up about 20% of my bankroll. Is this a run of good cards or is the competition just not as tight compared to NLHE?

re: Low stakes Draw/Stud: is it stealing or luck? poker The competition is terrible, and you are likely playing outside of your bankroll limits. You also might be terrible, since variance is almost a better hallucinogen than LSD, for poker players at least. You're probably just less terrible than they are

Most likely luck. A few sessions of 7 card stud and 5 card draw are not enough to determine one's skill at the game. It is my opinion that only after many games can a player evaluate his play. when you can win 70 to 90 percent of the times you play, at the level you are comfortable with over a significant period; then you can consider yourself a expert player.
