Lost over $200 to QJ offsuit

okay ive lost like 14 or 15 sngs in a row because everytime i make a move (allins with about 8-10 BBs and like only twice that ive put money in the pot) the big blind defends for most of his stack with QJ offsuit. That was the most common one, other were KJ and JT and KQ. Ive lost everyone of them. I even flopped a straight with 98 and he caught runner runner flush. My AQ got beat by QJ, he caught trip jacks. I had pocket 9s move all in small blind re raises the big blind with KJ to get it heads up, because apparently KJ is such a monster and he flops top two pair.

(*&%$&* SnGs are a waste of money.

Am I missing something or is defending with marginal hands a good thing, even when it threatens most of your stack

This is over a course of two weeks on the fulltilt turbos (2 minute blind stuctures) I didnt tilt it off all in one day, surprisingly :P

At the final table of a MTT couple weeks back at PS, I got in a pissin contest with the very same QJos. I had slick, made a big raise in the cut, and got called by the SB. Flop came QJT, giving me Broadway on the flop. SB went allin, I called, and he hit his boat on the river when the Q turned up.

Sounds like some of the crappy hands that have beaten me. That's why they call it gambling.

Maybe they've got that "turbo" fear that they can't give up chips and must collect whenever they have even moderate holdings.
