lossing causes botfriend to give up

I cant help but notice that mostly every time my boyfriend plays a tourney and has a really bad beat or 2 or 3, he goes on tilt. Actually it's like he gives up and throws away the game. I am getting so ticked off at him because he lost the $80 that I won. I can't stand it anymore. Like I love the guy but he cannot play on my account anymore. lol. I just gotta laugh because if I don't I'm gonna cry. I say to him why do you play if you don't have the patience? Why do you play if you can't take losing a few good hands? And he just sits there and tells me I'm right. O.K. sorry if I'm complaining to much, but I am p.o'd.

Anyone else got a problem like this?

OK people have a good day and good luck at poker.
Mandy

Yes with myself but taught myself to have lots of patience, patience, patience. Question.. why don't you get seperate accounts?....

If someone is blowing my money.. I'd definatly do something about it. Why keep letting it happen if you know it is going to happen?

If you are using the same computer, you may have trouble getting separate accounts. I think some sites have a restriction to prevent people from creating multiple accounts.

Ok play on diffrent sites with diffrent accounts. No multiple accounts that way.... I'd still wouldn't let someone use my $$$ especially if they don't care and are blowing it like its water.

Get him a video game & a stress ball for Xmas. Then he can practice getting better (or getting beat & handling it better) without losing your money. (I squeeze a stress ball when I play. Helps keep the calm.)

*Insert obvious "look for faults in your coding" joke here*

Tell him to stop playing tournaments if he's doing so, and to play ring games and sit out and leave the table as soon as he feels a bout of tilt coming on. Also remind him of the bigger picture - yeah so that 2-outer villain had hit on the river, but in the long run getting villain's money all in with him drawing to 2 outs is a move that will win money.

My brother and I have a similar problem. After one bad beat he goes on serious tilt and then blows all his remaining money.

The last couple of times i managed to procure some money on any of my accounts, he has gone on and lost it.

Im so p!ssed off as well, cos he jus goes on tilt within seconds when he loses a hand.

My problems always came at live games with re-buys. I would win 3x my chips and have to pay for my ex-wife to buy back in 3 times. By the time the game was over I usually lost my money + all the money she lost out of my pocket. In answer to your problem I think you should keep all money in a Net teller account. Don't give the boyfriend the info. When he wants to play find a site that suites your minimum deposit and send your man to town. Keep your playing on a different site and don't give out your password. Look on the bright side the $80 he lost was only winnings instead of your $80 deposit.

I caught my dog playing on my Noble account the other day. Would never have know if I hadn't heard her growl and bark real loud only to find her shredding the keyboard. She looked up at me and I just said I feel your pain that's what the insurance from Best Buy is for.

My wife doesn't play on my account without asking first. Lucky for me she's a better player then me anyway so I rarely have anything to worry about.

Hmmmm, I think you should be careful of this quote. Change just two words and you have something that might be a punchline to a joke.

I'm telling ya man I get so pissed. I get verbally abusive and I'm really not a mean person but it just gets to me. I say stuff like why the hell do you play if you don't give a crap, you suck, that was pretty f'n stupid of ya and on and on and on. When he plays I literly make him move the chair and his body right in front of the pc screen otherwise I'll be sitting there watching and critisizing his every move.

so sorry for all the spelling mistakes.

Mandy,

I had this same problem with my husband. He doesn't go on tilt that I have heard or seen really he just likes to chase every hand if he has a pair etc.... I took second place in one of the CC buyins on Noble and I had $56 in the account. He won some up on it but next thing I know I have less than $10. in the account at that time. The short of it I told him if he didn't stop it I was gonna change the password or take it out. When it happened again
My resolve to the problem you may ask? I took out my PWs on the places I have cash on. Let him play on his own name elsewhere basically. I didn't even tell him and he knows why so I shouldn't have to explain it to him. We had been members on Paradise for almost 2 years and we both got sent $10. in the mail for their new Sports book, where you could transfer it back into your Paradise poker account which he did this week. It's already gone :P Oh well it was his not mine LOL
