Well I am a fan of all the harrington on holdem books. I also liked ace on the river by barry greenstein. Mike matusow has a new book out called check raising the devil<---but this is a autobiography. Phil gordons books are really good. But I would start with the harrington books.

Phil Gordon's little green book and Harrington on Hold em should be on the top of your list. Don't forget Theory of poker. I read Gus Hansen's every hand revealed. If you want a good bathroom book that you don't have to study a lot it's pretty entertaining, a lot of good insight to his madness.

One thought.... The only problem about books is that if you are playing low limit games they can often screw you because those players are crazy and you never know what they can be calling with... So while reading the books will make you a much better player... if you don't do as well in the lower limit games... don't think you just wasted money on the book
