Well, if you play long enough, you start to feel those 20% longshots those lesser pocket pairs have.

I've had worst, but no bad beat feels good. I've seen 4 jacks beaten by a rivered straight flush.

Q10 clubs vs JJ

Flop J club, 9 club 8 of spades

Q10 raises

JJ all in

Q10 calls

turn Fourth Jack !!!

river K of clubs

Thankfully I was the Q10 of clubs hehe

It was one of our freerolls, but I lost all my chips after being in a good place. Would have gone second if I had won that.

Turns out buck went second instead ;]

Yep I am sure all of us has had bad luck like that from time to time but I dont think that I have seen my cards get beat by something like that. Tough luck. Dont worry you both played those hands well just got crazy on the turn card.

We have all traveled that rode before. I went all in with AA theo other day. Guy called all his chips with 77. And sure enough. Picked up trips and out I go. And yesterday I am forced to go all in with AQ off preflop because I am short stack. I get everyone to fold but one guy. He has a large stack and takes a chance on 3 7 of spades. He rivers a flush. That one stung.

How bout this? Down to 12 people in a 2000 player freeroll at Absolute. I pick up QQ, and raise to twice the blind. One guy calls, with a bigger stack than me. Flop comes JJJ. I bet 3 times the pot, he raises minimum, I call. Turn comes J!!!!! My dumbass goes all-in!! Dude's holding A7 and wins, I'm out. By the way, top 9 paid. Call me an idiot!!!

I know how you feel Grumble...

Happened to me last night...Dollar tourney so I wasn't that worried...but I go all in with pocket kings like 2 grand...guy calls me with pocket queens...flop was 9, queen, 10....I am begging for a jack....turn was a 10 river was a 10....I end up with a full house but get beat with his full house of queens....

Sucks to have the winning hand and still lose...

Thats because its a screenshot from the hand history and not the actual table. If you load up full tilt and check it out you will see that its legit. I wasn't quick enough on the screenshot key during actual play and it started dealing the next hand.

Certainly a fortuitous flop-turn, but not really an earthshaker that KK was upset, particularly by QQ. Not exactly a landslide favorite. And he was on the button, causing me to wonder who called whom. A possible limp-in there, 'Dook?

I wonder, would we have been treated to this colorful graphic if a Queen had snuck into the flop rather than the 8, making a set of ladies to be heartbroken by the K-high straight on the turn? (Now, if he had played 67 suited and climbed the ladder from the bottom up...THAT would be a screenshot for the Hall of Shame.)
