| Lol Last Night Was Short and Sweet... Got off of work at 6PM headed home changed clothes and headed to Buffalo Thunder (casino). $1/$3 NL wasn't running due to the tournament so I sat and played $2/$6 Spread Limit Hold 'Em. Bought in for $50 got it up to $80 within five minutes. My friend joined me and a few minutes later the $1/$3 NL was opening finally. I took $50 off the limit table and gave my friend the $30 I had made in profit. I sit down in Seat 8 (my favorite seat). Bought in for $250. It started as a short handed game 4 players, I'm sitting to the left of TAG. And I have 4 players to my left and in order they are: VPIP/PFR/AgF (mental estimates) Seat 1: Passive Fish (47/0/50) Seat 2: LAG Fish (80/8/75) Seat 3: Some Odd Old Urban Cowboy (100/0/15) Seat 4: Semi-TAG but more loose (30/15/50) Seat 5: Garbage Fish (40/40/67) Seat 6: Open Seat 7: The TAG (20/8/25) Seat 8: Me I open up my hand ranges and am able to steal a few blinds, get a couple calls c-bet on the flop steal the pot too. Building a chip stack slowly. I'm about 15 minutes in and get QJo on the button. I didn't raise because the three fishies to my left. Just called the $3. Seat 2 raised to $12... odd raise considering there were 5 players in the pot already and the only one who folded was Seat 7 in the CO. Flop J J K Seat two Bets $50, Seat 3 Calls, Fold (accidentally flips cards over As Kd), Now On me. Mental thinkingness: If Seat 1 had kings full he would have checked because he knows I'm aggressive and will almost certainly bet with anything on the button. And the caller in seat 3 would have definitely raised if he had better than me. I made my decision. "I raise $250 Total" This would put both of them all in and they both called. I thought I was behind for a split second but, Seat 2 overvalued aces and donked off his money to me, Seat three called with KT. Both knowing that Seat 7 had mucked his cards but they caught the corner and they both saw the As Kd. They both had 1 out a piece the case ace and case king. Anyway Total Cash after this hand and 45 minutes of play $720. Fairly Decent night. Leaving a winner. Priceless. |

It all depends on the day and time. If it's a Friday or Sat night at a casino, a 45 minute session is probably average for the many "tourists" there...lol, so I'm sure they don't even know what a hit and run is. If it's in the middle of the week, with a lot of the regulars, then yeah, they will probably be somewhat upset - but it's all relative, they'll get over it. The whole, "they'll mark you as a hit a runner, next time you go, watch out, they'll be gunning for you" theory is way overrated. I was a regular - just about everyday, at a casino in San Diego and people would hit and run all the time. Most of the regulars and pros there would concentrate on making money off anyone, not try to detract themselves to go after a "hit and runner". lol |
