| Local charity poker games Here in Michigan, the state allows MTT's and even cash games as long as you get a permit and it's for charity. The local American Legion must have struck up a deal with: Sullivan's Black Forest Brew Haus and Grill Home as they have cash games a couple days a week and a $25 MTT on Friday nights. The MTT is usually 50 people and is actually full of rather good players. Two weeks ago I had a table of fish, but this last week the table I was seated at was one of the toughest tables I've ever played on. The cash games on the other hand, I can't really see myself ever playing those. It's 2/4 Limit and get this... the rake is $4 A HAND. Isn't that exceedingly high? So if you are near Frankenmuth, the Friday night MTT's start at 6:30, it's $25 to enter and you can do a bounty chip for $5. |
