Live game last night!

Hey guys,

Had my monthly live game last night at my house. It was awesome. The first game I played well, ended up a little short stacked at he end when I was heads up. He pushed me all in. I had 5-5 and called. He flipped over J-9 off. He spiked the 9 on the river for the win. So I got 2nd in the first game. Not to bad, and one card away from winning it.

2nd game was crazy. I made it to heads up again. He had me dominated in chips. About 12,000 t0 1,400. Well I came all the way back and won it. It was awsome, I could do no wrong, when I bluffed he folded and when I had the goods, well he went for it.

sounds like you dominated these guys; too bad his marginal J9 ended up hitting, but that's poker.
Otherwise you would have absolutely cleared them out - maybe not such a good idea anyways 'cause you might scare em off for next month

Go Sammy! Always nice to empty your friends' pockets before they leave! We used have a home game all the time, the hubs and I, but sheesh--it's been a loong time. I suppose kids have something to do with it...Even bought a nice chip set when we got more "serious" about it.

I remember the last home game we had, we invited our friends John and Shelley over to play. OMG. They had no idea what they were doing and would NEVER FOLD!!! Yeah. They ended up winning. They're not invited anymore...LOLLL

dont know what it is but i play realy well live and struggle on line maybe if i get this thing what evrybody else seems 2 have i think its called luck maybe if that comes my way i might win but sounds like sammy u got some skills hope u take all of his cash next time

Yeah, I was thinking of that this morning. I've done very well the last 3 months and some of the guys are starting to moan. Oh, well. Hopefully they keep playing.
