Little experiment w/ bonus money

Titan throws me $20 every once in a while if I haven't played there in a while, and a week ago or so they did again.

I decided to do a little experiment (kind of what jimbo did), and play where I could buy in for the max until I doubled up or busted. I've brought it up to $50 at the 20NL tables, and now I'm going to go hit up 50NL.

I don't think I can withdraw the bonus money (without depositing there via a different method than neteller), so I'm probably just going to do this until I either lose it all, or make enough that I decide to investigate into withdrawls.

How far you think I'll make it? 100NL? 200NL? busto?

Place yer bets! :/

You Will Not BUSTO!!

I am gonna say you will be investigating the withdrawl options. I have a good feeling that you will run this up to $2,000.

And if you don't, everone will laugh at me, hell they probably already are.

I would guess you can get it up to $150-$200 and then naturally a bad beat will rear it's ugly head.

Good Luck though, I hope to hear that you are searching for the withdrawl options.

I particularly like the UTG+1 min raise with JJ after you've limped in. Some sort of pot building move?

Ya, NL, the tables at Titan are juicier than you would believe.

I ran into about a half-dozen absolute maniacs in my session today. Open pushes for ~$20 preflop with crap, minraises with monsters, calling down to the river with ace high...lovely stuff

Shine took a string of bad beats on the $10 tables and I got up to about $50 on the $25NL tables and we called it quits. Went a lot slower than it should of

I think you'll get to $500, realise it's quite a lot of money, withdraw it and spend it on furniture.

You will up it to approximately $250, then decide to play a $300K+ GTD tourney, where you will take the first place and win a huge amount of money. You decide to cash the money and will spend it all on beer and women in one night (-EV!).

You can play raked hands to clear it - now you've got $100 you've probably got a shot at turning it into cash if you want.

I've been given $25 bonus - I was going to H2H it and try and double up twice, but i'll do what you are doing.

How many hands was that Chuck? Win rate?

Just a thought, you could try multi-tabling 2 $50 tables until you get to $200, when you start on 2 $100 tables. It would be less boring and you don't risk losing the whole thing on one hand. (Although that might be against the spirit of what you're doing, maybe you HAVE to lose it eventually.)

so what exactly do you do? start at the highest level you can possible buy in? like lets say you have $10 and the .10/.25 the minumum is $10. so you start there, then when you're at $20, buy in at .25./50 and so on?

Meh...I'll see how I feel then.

I started at $20NL with the free 20 bucks, then as soon as I made enough to buyin for maximum at the next stakes level, I moved up (ie $50 for $50NL). I definitely wouldn't suggest this...I'm just dicking around with some bonus money

oh i know you are, i was just wondering what you were doing cause i was thinking of screwing around too and seeing how far i could get. I play at absolute and the lowest limit is .5/.10 with a min buy in of $4 and a max of $20. I was thinking of taking $4 from my bankroll and seeing how far it gets me. I just didnt know if you grind it out at .5/.10 untill you hit $10(the minumum buy in for the next level .10/.25) or $50 the max buyin for that level.

Nicely done. Are these all 6-max tables? Seems quite tight, so I'm thinking you're 10-maxing it. At a 10-seater those win rates are really good. But I don't understand how you can keep interest just playing one hand every 5 minutes. I've been playing 3 and still have plenty of time to surf Cardschat and write emails at the same time...

Remarkably consistent Won $ WSF % across the levels.

ty sir. And they're 8 max (a titan specialty).

I probably would lose interest, except these are the highest stakes I've played in a while. My actual bankroll isn't big enough for 50NL right now, and I get a nice buzz playing 100NL

Crash and burn

Bad play + bad luck + more bad play = I'm BUSTO!

I went down to about $100 total, then all the way down to ~$30. I clawed back to about $80, but went bust soon after :/

So for the next $20 bonus, the record to beat will be $133.89 for me.
