23s? Maybe that's too easy. Let's see? This hand caught your attention so much so that you made a thread about it. I'm going to say Memie is an idiot and played something like 57o. Memie, Memie, Memie will you ever learn?

Well I'd been playing this person for about 20 minutes at this point (there's a reason I'm already at $82 at the beginning of the hand ). Villain was making extreme overbets a lot early on, decided to try a call with top pair and villain had flopped a straight. So I shifted to pretty tight, folding a lot preflop (the preflop raise was inevitable). So I pick up 36 and decide to mix it up. He makes it $1.50, I raise to $3.50. Flop comes 474, check-check on the flop. J turn, he bets $2.50, I make it $7 expecting to take it down. He flat calls. River is a 5, hitting my gutshot, and I bet $12, he calls river with QJ.

So he started to tilt, I took advantage but he at least knew when to fold to too much aggression. He finally was settling down again when I raised preflop with 56c, flop came AKQ rainbow. He bet, I raised, he folded, and I showed my 56. This QQ was the VERY NEXT hand. I couldn't have timed that bluff with 56 better. I knew I could fire away and he'd call all day. I hit the flop of my dreams. Decide to give him the rope and let him hang himself, and he stacks off with K high.

Best part is, he instantly re-bought and lost another $30 before leaving.

And you're right about folding. I would have been pissed if that had happened and my QQ was unimproved but still over the board. Knowing I probably was ahead but couldn't call all the way. I just don't get the turn shove. There's not enough there to get me to fold any decent hand. I don't see what hands I'd call with on the flop after all the action preflop that I would fold to the turn shove. But I'm pretty sure it was pure tilt.

But after this hand, he continued to push any 2 cards. I was calling him down with 3rd pair, and then there was the one flopped 2 pair vs. his top pair. Wish I coulda played him all day, but he realized it was going downhill apparently. Ended the session with $130ish, after having bought in for $50 (took that full buy-in plus $30 plus he reloaded the initial 50, and the rake took some, but winning $60+ pots also helps with the rake portion, knowing that each flop is losing 5 cents but that hand only lost 50 cents total to rake).

Most the time when I see hands like that I always say, "Where am I on hands like that?". I love when you are worried about their cards and in the end you just say "What in the world?" and take the chips gladly. It's a good thing you caught this guy at decently sized stakes as well.

Lol he must have thought you were bluffing all the way he just wouldn't believe you. I once won a $200 pot against one player who called me down to the river with Ace ten high against my two pair. I flopped two pair and check raised him, he called. I bet pot on the turn he called. And I went all in on the river and he called with ace high.
