Lawsuit against pokerstars dropped

I just read an article about a girl who won 1.2 million in a pokerstars tournament, but was disqualified. The reason is because it was not her playing on the account. Now she has to pay for legal fees too !!

What if my wife won 1.2 mill on my account?? wtf

u have u story wrong, i think ur refering to thev0id who won the wcoop main event but the problem was that there were 2 accounts registered for the tournament from the same IP adress,
1 account won and the man who used both of the accounts went on to say it was is siters account
he cheated, he dont deserve anything

Yup, his sister had never played in any sort of big buy in event before, and after a two week investigation (so some pretty decent analysis must of been made) it was deemed that he cheated and everyone else was bumped up a place.

The investigators may have placed her at a different location at the time of the event; or they may have determined she didn't know poker well enough to make the plays that were made from her account; or they may have found witnesses that heard the man talking (bragging) about what he had done. Many people think that since this all happens online, no one will come and talk to their "local" friends.

What a lame way to "win" though. For me it's not just about the money, it's about being considered the best. If it's only about the money, invest in a law degree. It will give you a much higher ROI.
