The latest on U.S. deposits?

I have been funding ePassporte with my Chase debit card. Then I found out Chase will often deny the transaction on the weekends. Now Chase denied another transaction today (Tuesday).

Will my debit card ever work again with ePassporte?

How are you US folks making deposits onto PokerStars and Full Tilt?

You're with Chase? Did you try to load money today? Chase has declined 2 transactions for me today to ePassporte.

Yeah...about a month ago I tried 4 times to load money on a weekend...they all got denied and Chase put a block on my card until I called their fraud department, then they lifted the block. The nice lady suggested I wait until a weekday to load money on ePassporte.

The payTru card that PokerStars rolled out to a few of their players a while back works great everywhere. Ubfortunately, there is currently a freeze on new cards being issyed. Every US online player should have one!

If you have access to the echeck option it is great - instant and no fees.

I work for Chase - we don't decline by days of the week. All epassporte transactions should be declined initially. They might let the transaction go through if you call them - but not to a gambling site. If they ever let your transactions for pokerstars go through you are just getting very lucky.

Echeck would be great but the PokerStars website says it's been unavailable to US players since January 17.

Chase declined my debit card again this morning on ePassporte. Guess I'll have to call Chase or use the very slow bank account transfer method, Moneygram, www.allaccessgift.com...

I got a pop-up in pokerstars a couple of weeks ago saying I was part of a selected group for echeck. It did say they hoped to roll it out to all US players soon.

Also figured, What the heck, Let's try a deposit on Full Tilt.
Chase debit card worked right along.
It was "Pending" for about 10 minutes, but finally went through.

I just did a deposit using my debit card directly onto Full Tilt as well, no problems.

Interesting aside, a few minutes after my deposit my bank called me to do a security check on the transfer. It showed up as a jewelry deposit to them. Weird.

Yes. It works at both PokerStars and Full Tilt. Not sure of other sites, but if I had to guess I'd say yes.

Really? I was under the impression that AllAccess no longer authorized transactions to gambling sites. I haven't tried it in months though. Anyone used this recently?

Yes...we've had several verifications that it's working now. There was a two period or so where NetSpend had a server issue and cards were being declined. But their customer service said it would be back up and sure enough it was, to the day customer service said.

It shows up on my bank statement as Gem payments, so when my bank called they thought it was a jewelry purchase.

Sorry, wasn't supposed to be a deposit in my initial response, was tired and in a hurry when I responded earlier.

I have a question, don't know if it's been asked before, but can you remove money by the Visa method or something else from Pokerstars if you have never deposited there before?

Most places require you to have deposited before you can cash out (regardless of how you cash out). If you were asking how to cash out after you've deposited via Visa Gift Card, then it would be via check. As others have stated, Stars is very good about sending their checks. I forget who it was but they got their check and cashed it within 7 days.
