Largest pot you've ever seen? You didn't have to win it, heck you didn't have to be in it. But, what was the largest pot you've seen with your own eyes? Live you could be railing, online at least be @ the table. Real money, not tourney chips. Not, that you heard about, and not on TV (as most of us have seen those). And by "pot" I don't mean ![]() Personally, I play low stakes live and online so I haven't seen much.

guess this doesn't qualify since you said online at least be at the table, but I've posted it here before, friend went on super tilt and went to the $5/$10 HU tables with $500 at the table. First hand flopped top pair and ended up all-in (he had KJ, flop was K high). Opponent had KQ. He hit his J on the river, was an 85-15 dog and won a pot that was exactly $1,000 minus the rake (I think it's capped at $3 at those limits? So that would be $997).

Largest pot ive seen in real life was at a $1/$2 cash game, everybody at the table had over 100 in front of them. Luckily I wasnt involved in the pot but the flop came 9-7-6. After tons of raises and reraises on the flop 4 players were all in and there was $690 in the pot. One guy had 10-8, one guy had 8-5, one guy had trip 9's and the other had trip 6's. Turn and river came A-3 and the guy with 10-8 took the whole pot. After that had he had over $1000 in front of him and he bought in for $150.

re: Largest pot you've ever seen? poker Won a nice $900 pot at the Showboat in AC a few years back playing 2/4nl. A lag player had just joined the table and we were both pretty deep, I had around 450 or so he had around 600 when he got there since his table just broke. The first hand he was on the button and raised my big blind I had AA and reraised he folded. Very next rotation he raised my big blind from the button again, and once again I get Aces and reraised again, this time he called and the flop came Kxx all clubs, and I had the ace of clubs, the turn was another club so I had the nuts, eventually we got all the money in I'm not sure what he had because he mucked, I'd imagine the king of clubs, but who knows. I think he thought I was full of it, because I was taking full advantage of thier free Jack and cokes, and was getting a massage from one of thier massage girls while all this was going on, so he probably just thought I was a wreckless lush.

In Sydney the casino usually spreads a $2000 Max PLO game on the weekends. I don't normally play Omaha but often wander over from my table to sticky beak when there is a bit of excitement (read commotion) at that table. When it first opens the pots are usually about $500, but around 10 and 11 pm on the Friday they are getting quite big, averaging about $4 or $5K. By about 2am there a pots of $8k and such. The two biggest ones I have seen were a $16K pot and a staggering $26K pot. I still can't really comprehend gambling that amount of money. I know to the Pros on TV this is peanuts, but these are people I see and talk to in the casino often. And the crazy thing is that about 50% of the guys that sit in this game are kids, maybe 19 or 20 years old.

re: Largest pot you've ever seen? poker I've watched the Ivey Deathmatch and such and those pots just get ridiculous sometimes. I was watching a $5000NL table and saw two guys with ~10k get all in preflop, AA vs KK and of course KK wins it for 20k The largest I've seen when I've actually been at the table playing would probably be like $600ish when I went on tilt once and played at a 2/4 table.
