It's his personality that makes him so liked in the poker world and it makes his game seem a lot better

Not only what? ..lol?

I love watching him play and everything, but hearing him give tips is so cheesy, since it's usually old footage from Stacked, when he was trying to sound all "groundbreaking" (such as the 'small-ball' strategy, which is really just not all that hard, but he makes it sound like ONLY pros have EVER done it. I picked it up just by experience.)

Excellent player though, if he could just learned to trust himself.

I think the ability to pick people's hold cards is what makes a lot of people go "wow - he's the greatest player ever!"

And it's making calls like this, having correctly picked said hole cards, that make other people say "wow - why do people think he's so good?!?"

I reckon he's good, but not necessarily a better player than any number of other pros. He's just more likeable than a lot of them

Some players shouldn't trust their reads, so I was stating that he makes very amazing ones. You sure do like to quote my posts today

You just seemed to stand out more that's all, nothing more I was just confused because that's what I was implying. lol. I've been doing psychology tests all day if that helps. which I doubt. See, I'm going on about nothing.

I love you.

Implication is more sophisticated. We tie, and Daniel loses.

I just don't see the point in him calling off for his tourney life to prove that his read was good. He still had 25K left on 500/1000 blinds. Top prize is $1.3 Million. Let the Jacks go and keep on plugging along.

Well, he is Daniel Negreanu.
That's how he does things.

So unfortunate too, he has the potential to become the best player ever if he would just realize that he's NOT in the learning station of his career for reading.

This is exactley what they were talking about on Poker After Dark (Mike the Mouth, Hellmuth, Phil Laak etc)

Daniel always manages to make these great reads, usually pretty close to spot on - then goes and calls

Always listen to your gut instinct

Yes, but how often have you put someone on a hand, said "screw it", made the call, and see them flip over like 9 high? Don' know how often it happens to him, but I've had both happen to me.
