| Kamikaze Tourney So I have just opened an account at Cake Poker and see something I have never seen before.....pay $3 + .15 to act like a donk....isnt that what freerolls are for and you can do that free!!!! Anyone seen this on Cake yet?...the tourney lobby says "each player is forced to go all in every hand, so just sit back and watch". How much fun can that be? |

| LOL yeah there a pile of crap, I was just playing with some freeroll money on Doyles room also on crappycake site, and honestly I played in a little buy in and it was the same difference I dont think there was a single hand where there wasnt at least a player all in before the turn. The kamikaze thing is straight stupid, all in or fold is fun but to make everyone go all in every hand why dont they just kick you in the nuts and take your three bux. |

| Yeah its more of a novelty than anything. Personally I wouldn't mind 'playing' one. There is no skill involved.. but its $3 just to see everyone go all-in every hand. I wouldn't 'play' a second one even if I won.. I can see die hard gamblers liking it.. but I think most people enter it once just to say that they have entered an all-in tournament!! |

They are pointless and a lottery but as a poker player you wonder what it would be like to be in one of them.. Like I say.. I wouldn't mind entering one once at $3 just for the hell of it!! |

Well true, I also play in play chip games as well. Sometimes play chip tourneys just for fun. I would be willing to give it a go, not denying that, but i think its a little ridiculous that people would consider this a poker game. I think of it more as a game of chance (in more of a sense than poker really is) and would try it once. Shit, I still buy scratchers! |

I can understand entering it once .. just for the hell of it, but I couldn't imagine anyone but the most die hard gambler going back a second time. I would imagine most people entering it are thinking the same.. but then again, I could be wrong. |

| Played a $1 - 10 seat table just for giggles, game over on the first hand dealt. About as the same thrill as pulling the handle on a slot machine, in otherowrds, not much. Still amazing how fast they fill up, lots of people tossing their money out the door at some horribly bad odds. Better to play Roulette where the odds are better, lol |

| My friend came into the cash at one of these things, so he convinced me to do it, worst call i ever made, bought into a mtt on cake and was out in first hand, they go quick but really not even worth my money i would rather go to a cash table and play a 2/3 offsuit for 5 all in preflop |

| re: Kamikaze Tourney poker Few players online are 'serious' poker players, imo. It is recreational for some, disastrous for others and profitable only for a few. Something like this is a novelty and can't possibly be taken seriously. Don't know if they still have it, but it's a bit like 'Blind Man's Bluff' they've played at the WSOP before. Everybody can enjoy a diversion from time to time. Just an extreme version of the 'all-in or fold' games that are popular with the adrenalin junkies. |

| I have seen similar tourneys like this on other sites. I think Inter Poker do it and I know Gala do it a lot. I have never understood it. It is certainly not poker and they would be better putting these games onto their bingo sites. |

| everywhere From playing online for years now, i have found that almost all the tournies are kamakazi like that. Unfortunately its like they have the dumb rich poker player syndrome, where it dosent matter what limit the play. The only safety that you have is to load more money lol |

What disturbs me the most is that these monkeys come sit at my table right after playing one of those and they are still in that mindset! Here I am, diligently trying to learn all I can and really working hard on improving my game only to come up against one of these noooooobs! Arent the poker sites just creating more donks with this nonsense? |

| the other night i saw one of these tournaments on Betus. the cost to get in was 1 gold chip, and it had a $100 prize pool. i would never pay money to play one of these, but a gold chip is a differant story. i have not seen one since then. has anybody else seen these tournaments? |
