How are you playing it? If you are going all in PF with it you have to remember, it's only a strong drawing hand. You need to post some of the hands you have lost with that. You will get a good critique on how you played it.

i usually go raise with it, perhaps too much. if i have 2000, ill usually raise to 4-500 hoping to push people out, but everyone calls on PP
and i get outdrawn. So recently Ive just been limping in, and still lose.how would you play it? |

Don't ever limp with AK!
Raise to limit the field and to increase the size of the pot. It also gives you a bluffing/drawing opportunity on the flop depending on your position. Another thing-Don't base all of your judgement on a couple of unlucky times you have been playing it. It hits an ace or king very often(1 in 3) and when it doesn't, evaluate the situation and most likely fold. |

I would apply this to "ever" also. The only time I wouldn't consider raising with them is if you are at a table with someone with a huge stack raising/reraising everything. Or if you can "afford" to do it...in certain situations. |
