| Just wanting to share my bad beat I was playing a sit n go on Pokerstars a few days ago for a $60 NLHE Turbo. I get dealt pocket kings. I raise three times the big blind. The guy after me raises all-in. Two others call him and so do I. Everyones cards flip and the original all-in was a 7 2 off, then the callers had AA and QQ. Of course I hate seeing the AA. But it would have been one heck of a lay down to fold kings....Right? Well the flop comes out AKQ........turn K.....yes i hit quads....so Im thinkin "sweet" then comes the dang river......."A"....gives the quad ACES!!!!!!!! My question is on the playing preflop.....should I have folded? I mean wouldnt that be a tough fold?? Could you have done it....any insight would be nice...thanks. |

| re: Just wanting to share my bad beat poker I say both the call and the fold are respectable plays. Fold is definitely the harder play, but if it is a tournament you can be thinking of the long and how that with that amount of people in the hand, even if KK is the best, you have a much smaller % of winning. Either way, hard to get away from this situation but definitely possible. |
