Is it just me or is placing high in a tournament the greatest feeling ever

In online poker that has only happened to me three times, but man, it's the best feeling ever. Entering a tournament for like $50 or $100 when your BR is $2000 after months of slowly building it to $2000. Then placing high in the tournament and winning like $3000 or $4000, it's the greatest feeling ever. And it keeps me coming back and back for more MTTs.

yes, it's a great feeling. seeing the prize so many times then finally getting there. I haven't won that much yet, but a win feels a lot better than losing. Good luck

but it is alwas nice to win no matter how high or low the buy in is

I've always found the greatest feeling is to be found in being the last person out before the bubble in a large MTT tournament. The sense of satisfaction to know that you played the best you could and be the highest placing non-money position is a treasure to be held high.

i prefer scooping big pots at ring games, dont have to wait as long for good feelings then

You know, I thought it would feel better than it actually did. I'm primarily a cash game player. Most of the tourneys I play online are the CC ones. I do occasionally play a low stakes online tourney when I'm bored, but for the most part, I stick to ring games.

Anyway, Sunday I made the money for the first time in a CC event, then followed it up with a money finish in a regulat MTT.

I thought I would be over-joyed, but for some reason, I wasn't.

I hate to admit it, but my greatest joy in life is sucking someone out for a big pot in a ring game.

Winning with the best hand isn't nearly as much fun.

The best feeling is being in a average buy-in MTT like 10$ or so and your at the final table and you have railers that you have never met cheering for you...

That's the best feeling ever, seriously.. I mean even getting into the money is a good feeling sometimes haha. I can't ever place in 1k+ player tournies though.. =(

Gotta say getting the game-winning hit is the best feeling in the world. As soon as you see the ball out coming towards you you realize you're gonna get the win, you hit it into the outfield and hitting first base the team all swarms you.


But sure, placing high in an MTT is close
