| Juanda vs Hellmuth vs Seidel vs Negreanu As of 2011, which of these four are the best/most well-rounded tourney players? I thought of comparing these four since they seem to be the most well-known tournament pros. Also, Juanda, Hellmuth, and Seidel have had pretty good 2011 results so far. In my opinion, i think its 1. Erik Seidel 2. John Juanda 3. Phil Hellmuth 4. Daniel Negreanu |

| Phil Helmuth can only play Holdem and all his bracelets are from Holdem tournaments. Almost the same is valid for Negreanu... Erik and Juanda are both very good at all kinds of poker games and they have bracelets from different games. Phil Ivey is definitely the best. He has 9 bracelets and they are all from different games. |

OP, not sure what you mean by 'well-rounded'? |

That said I don't know if I'd go as far as saying he's at the same standard as the other three on OP's list when it comes to mixed games. Probably a crapshoot among those three as to who's best but I'd give it to Seidel based on experience. |

| re: Juanda vs Hellmuth vs Seidel vs Negreanu poker FWIW Seidel has eight bracelets: two in LHE, two in NLHE, one in PLO, one in O8 and two in deuce seven. Juanda has five (if you count Europe): two in lowball draw, one in NLHE, one in PLO and one in Stud8. I'd say they've both got pretty good records in mixed games, though I guess you could nitpick about Seidel's lack of a stud bracelet. For completeness Negreanu has four: two in LHE, one on PLHE and one in SHOE. |

| Whomever is running better, seriously. All 4 can play. EDIT: Well rounded? Maybe JJ's the best. Again though, all can play. Add run good to ES and suddenly he's the best player ever and takes down millions of dollars in a single year in tourneys. Add run good to Hellmuth and he suddenly takes 3 2nd's in wsop majors. To be honest though my gut would say Hellmuth is the weakest of the three here, but I've only played with him a couple times and can't really pass judgement. I think I was better off before this edit and when it was simpler, as that's probably the closest to the truth. |

| ""John is one of the only guys out of all the big-time poker players, who I can honestly say has never had to worry about money," says fellow pro and good friend Daniel Negreanu, who first met Juanda in 1997. "His ability to manage money is just nauseating sometimes. There were times when I would go broke, and I'd come to him and ask to borrow some obscene amount of money to get me back on my feet; and before he'd even discuss it with me, he'd always ask me what happened, then lecture me about what I did wrong or how bad I was playing." - http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/poker...ine&id=2948473 |
